LIPA Spain Tours is a university project – a music tour that has taken place each year since 2000. The tour involves musicians from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts joining a signed Spanish artist on a four date tour across four Spanish cities. Accompanying them is two LIPA Management Students who are heavily involved in the organisation of the tour. Prior to this, the Spanish artist and the LIPA musicians will perform two gigs in the UK – one in Manchester and one in Liverpool which take place in late May. For this project LIPA works in close collaboration with AIE, Artistas, Interpretes y Ejecutantes, S.G.E. In the past, we have brought on stage some prestigious artists and have worked with companies within the music industry including Rolling Stone Magazine; national Spanish radio stations and Warner Brothers Records.
